Frogspawn coral (Euphyllia divisa or Euphyllia paradivisa) is a moderately hardy large polyp stony (LPS) coral.

Water Parameters
  • Temperature: 74°F – 78°F (23°C – 26°C)
  • Salinity (Specific Gravity): 1.024 – 1.026
  • pH: 8.1 – 8.4
  • Alkalinity: 8 – 9.5 dKH (keep very stable)
  • Calcium: 400 – 450 ppm
  • Magnesium: 1300 – 1450 ppm 
Lighting
  • PAR Level: 50 – 150 PAR (low to moderate)
  • Placement: Bottom to middle section of the tank.
  • Note: High-intensity direct light can cause bleaching or tissue recession. Acclimate new colonies slowly if your tank uses strong LED lights.
Water Flow
  • Level: Low to moderate indirect water movement.
  • Note: The flow should be gentle enough to make the polyps sway without slamming tissue against the hard skeleton.
