CORPUS CHRISTI CORALS LLC – PAR METER LOCAL RENTAL AGREEMENTBy checking the agreement box at checkout and completing this transaction, you (the "Renter") agree to all terms, conditions, and policies outlined below by Corpus Christi Corals LLC (the "Company") for the rental of the Apogee PAR Meter.
LOCAL PICKUP & RETURN POLICY
•This rental service is strictly limited to local customers. Shipping is not available.
•The rental duration is defined as the exact number of days specified and paid for at checkout.
•The rental window begins at the scheduled local pickup time and ends on the final day of your reserved duration.
•The drop-off time on your final day must be no later than 4:00 PM so that the PAR meter can be thoroughly inspected by the Company.
•Both parties will perform a joint visual and operational inspection of the PAR meter at pickup and return to confirm the device is in perfect working order.
SECURITY AUTHORIZATION HOLD & DEPOSIT
•A temporary security authorization hold will be placed on your payment card at checkout.
•Upon the safe, on-time, and undamaged return of the PAR meter, this security hold will be fully released within 48 business hours.
•If the equipment is not returned or a local drop-off is not completed within 5 days of your scheduled return date, the temporary hold will be permanently captured as a non-return penalty, and the Renter’s account will be permanently restricted from future purchases or rentals.
DAMAGE, NEGLIGENCE, & ORIGINAL PACKAGING FEES
•Original Packaging: The PAR meter must be returned in its original specialized packaging. Failure to return the unit in its original packaging will result in an automatic $25 penalty deducted from the security deposit.
•Equipment Damage: The Renter is fully liable for any physical or structural damage caused by negligence, misuse, or accident during the rental period.
•Negligence specifically includes, but is not limited to: submerged or water-damaged display screens, cut or severely kinked sensor cables, and crushed casing. Repair or replacement costs for such damage will be deducted directly from the security authorization hold.
LIABILITY & LIVESTOCK DISCLAIMER
•Corpus Christi Corals LLC provides the PAR meter as an informational tool to help optimize aquarium lighting profiles.
•The Company is not responsible for any user error, incorrect settings adjustments, or light shock.
•The Company holds zero liability for the health, bleaching, tissue loss, or mortality of any livestock, corals, invertebrates, or fish in the Renter’s aquarium resulting from the use of this rental equipment.
