Lighting and Placement of Space Invader Chalice
  • Keep PAR levels between 75 and 200, depending on the specific strain.
  • Place them on the sand bed or lower rockwork initially to prevent bleaching.
  • Provide a blue lighting spectrum to make their vibrant colors pop.
Water Flow
  • Use low to moderate, indirect flow to keep detritus from settling without tearing the flesh.
  • Avoid high flow rates that lift tissue or blow the coral off the rocks.

  • Temperature: 72–78°F (22–26°C)
  • Salinity: 1.024–1.026 SG
  • pH: 8.1–8.4
  • Alkalinity: 8–12 dKH
  • Calcium: 400–450 ppm
  • Magnesium: 1250–1350 ppm
  • Nitrates: <10 ppm
  • Phosphates: <0.10 ppm
