- Salinity (Specific Gravity): 1.022 to 1.026

Tank Requirements & Diet
- Minimum Tank Size: 10 to 20 gallons

- Diet: Herbivore. They graze on film algae, diatoms, and cyanobacteria. Supplement with dried seaweed (nori) if the tank runs clean of natural algae.

Compatibility & Special Features
- Reef Safe: Safe with all corals (soft, LPS, SPS) and peaceful fish.
- Self-Righting: Unlike many other cleanup crew snails (like Astraea snails), Trochus snails can flip themselves back over if they fall onto their backs.
- Potential Predators: Avoid aggressive fish like pufferfish, large wrasses, and triggerfish, and watch out for large hermit crabs that might try to steal their shells.
