Iron Man Micro Goniopora corals require moderate-to-strong water flow, stable water parameters, and regular fine-particle feeding to thrive in an intermediate-to-advanced reef aquarium.
Care Requirements at a Glance
- Care Level: Intermediate to Advanced (delicate and sensitive to sudden changes)
- Lighting (PAR): Low to moderate, roughly 75 to 150 PAR
- Water Flow: Moderate to strong, indirect, and random movement to keep tissue clean without damaging polyps
- Placement: Lower to middle areas of the aquarium, ensuring space from neighboring stinging corals
- Feeding: Regular feeding with fine foodsÂ
Optimal Water Parameters
- Temperature: 74°F – 78°F (stable around 78°F)
- Salinity: 1.025 – 1.026 SG
- Alkalinity: 8 – 9 dKH (keep very stable)
- Calcium: 400 – 450 ppm
- Magnesium: 1300 – 1400 ppm
- Nitrate: 5 – 20 ppm
